I loved working on this new winter design.

I particularly love the dramatic change I painted - the dark blue background completely changes the feel of this design!

I used my favourite shellac inks for vibrancy and honesty of tone, along with my acrylic paints to add solidity of colour.  

The contrast of the red berries with the ivy and the beautiful Winter Rose all add to a seasonal palette, reminding me of all the wonderful aspects of Winter …

Chilly walks on Exmoor, Sloe Gin, log fires and of course plenty of mince pies!!
